'I don't even know where to start, I had my lip lift done with Dr Haworth and I so regret it is been a year since and I had it done and my scar around the nose is horrible it wont go away, I spent I lot of money on laser treatments. I cant even look at people to the face any more because I don't feel confident. I don't know what to do, I am planing to go to California to see Dr Haworth but I am not sure if I want him to fix this since he did such a bad job the first time. I been so depress I really don't want to go through another Lip surgery for me is been a nightmare. the office staff will never return you calls, and i never got to see Dr Haworth again after my surgery, another Dr removed the stitches Please do your research and find a good Dr with good credentials don't make the same mistake'

I feel very sad when I read this, because of the complications that I had after my lip surgery with Dr. Haworth. When you look at my lip, it looks like he sliced the bottom of my nose off and the scar is very obvious. My upper lip does not lift and my lip just hangs without any muscle tone. My nasal base is distorted. My whole life changed because of what was done to my mouth. I used to be quite beautiful. I had to give up my job because my speech was affected. I wonder why he continues to do the liplift surgery when he has so many patients with these complications.

I made a huge mistake by

I made a huge mistake by going to Dr Haworth and not doing my homework, I really don't know how he has so many good reviews??? and that is the reason I went to him for the good reviews but with me he did a horrible job, I wish I can turn back time, I am afraid I will not even be able to get it fix with another Dr because my upper lip is way to short already. Please Please anyone out there reading this knows any good Dr that may be able to fix this please contact me
Thank you

Good, bad or indifferent, I

Good, bad or indifferent, I appreciate your feedback and take it very seriously. I cannot tell who you are from your note, so it's difficult to reply about specifics. I go to great lengths to set the stage for a high quality cosmetic result and an overall positive experience. I would like to apologize for your not being happy with the outcome since my goal for all my patients is to provide them with the very best care I can. I am the first to admit when results can be better. I am human and I operate on humans. Sometimes things do not turn out perfect precisely as we would have hoped. Since plastic surgery is not exact by its very nature (being a subjective blend of art and science) not all results turn out the way we want, despite our best efforts. The challenge increases if the plastic surgeon has to take into account pre-existing asymmetries, irregularities, deformities and scars from past plastic surgery. That said, communication is key between the doctor and patient. I make every effort to treat each patient with the end result in mind. This is further refined and discussed extensively at follow-up visits.

I've made it my goal to always be directly and personally available to all of my patients to ensure you get as close as possible to your desired end result. That hasn't changed. I invite you to please call our office at your earliest convenience to schedule a private appointment so we can discuss options to help you. My goal is to address any concerns and do my best to approach 100% patient satisfaction. I believe I’ve responded as fully as reasonably possible on this matter and this will be my final comment for this (and similar) threads.
