Rating Feedback for Dr. Nikko (2457354)
'He has complaints and has been disciplined several times by the Texas Medical Board (which issues doctors licenses). He has been fined by the Board for false advertising. It's public information so Google Teas Medical Board and type in his name. He does NOT have hospital privileges to perform the procedures he does in his office. No dermatologist will be granted permission to do these in a real hospital because of the risk. His videos refer to him as a "cosmetic" as well as a "plastic" surgeon. The latter is untrue and misleading. He is an expert in that area.'
Thank you for expressing your concerns. Unfortunately I canâ??t determine your identity from your post or I would contact you directly to clarify several inaccuracies in your post. The Texas Medical Board grants access to public records and typically provides the most accurate facts; itâ??s an excellent tool to research a provider and practice. As you reviewed, the Texas Medical Board applied a small administrative penalty related to a detail of my advertising approximately a decade ago. As a cosmetic surgeon, I am entitled to promote my focus and training with the proper terminology. Since then, all promotional materials clearly convey I am Board-Certified Dermatologist with a specialty focus and fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery. Also, I currently hold privileges at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital for dermatology and cosmetic services. I typically choose to operate in my accredited surgical suite for patient convenience. I invite you to call my office and discuss any inquiries regarding my background and practice. As you kindly suggested, all information is public and easily available.
