Rating Feedback for Dr. JHAVER (2084742)

The rating:
'Dr. Jhaver is an excellent physician. I've had nothing but great experiences with her. To the reviewers below; you do realize Dr. Jhaver has patients. What makes you more important that she should delay other patients' appointments by calling you and take up 10-15 minutes on the phone answering your questions? Anyone reading between the lines can see that you didn't want to make an appointment and pay a copay and wanted to take up the doctors' time on the phone instead. Dr. Jhaver takes as much time as patients need and never cuts me off or asks me to leave. The patients who see her understand than are happy to wait knowing they will get the same courtesy.'

Most physicians that I have had will always call you back, or have a nurse call with the answer. It's not about avoiding a co-pay, it's about answering an urgent question. Sometimes I have questions like dosing issues, or medication interaction, or an allergic reaction. In cases like this, you need an answer asap, and any GOOD doctor who cares about their patentient, will return the call that day, or have a nurse make the call. As for her giving you all the time in the world...that's just silly. We all go to get the care we need, not gossip. I respect those doctor's who set 20 minute limits. I go in with a list, and I control what I ask and get an answer and move down my list. The doctor needs to respect everyone's time. I don't appreciate being left to wait, my time is important. Most people have a job or other important things to get back to.
