'I have been going to the office of Dr. Frydman for atleast 5 years now and always see the nurse practitioner, Dana. She is wonderful by the way. The office doesn't accept my insurance plan but I love the nurse practitioner so much that I pay out of pocket to go to this office. One of my medications isn't covered under my insurance plan and needs the doctors prior authorization in order to be covered. I called the office to let them know my insurance company will be faxing over the paper work for the doctor to fill out. I was in total shock when the girl got on the phone after speaking with the doctor and told me to go to Target or Walgreens where I could get my medication for 4.00...NOT TRUE!! She told me that the doctor didn't want to fill out all the paper work..he was to busy. I couldn't believe what I heard. My medication is almost 200.00 and I can't afford that. I will be going to a different doctor from now on. I will never go back to this office again!!'

If you were seeing the NP you should have requested her to fill out the paperwork. You are HER patient NOT his. Secondly, there are many doctor's offices that if you need extensive paper work filled out, it will be done AT A COST to the patient. Is it possible that you were required to pay something and you balked at it?
