Rating Feedback for Dr. Bernier (1276644)

'I see all these comments and WISH he was so good with me. I had to be transferred by ambulance and waited for him to come check my in triage. FINALLY a resident doctor came as it was apparent he just was not going to. He was supposed to deliver my baby. He walked in when I was pushing, did not speak at all to me and stood and stared making me VERY uncomfortable. Even the resident doctor doc commented on that. He was very creepy. Never came back to check on me even though there were complications, nothing. I was not happy with him being there and would never want to see him for any care again or have him present for anything.'

My experience was roughly the same and I also found him creepy. He was rude to my husband and made a few inappropriate remarks towards me and other patients. When it came time to deliver he was no where to be found (in surgery all day) so when he finally came in the room he was very disconnected from what was going on. Finally after 3times they decided I couldn't do it and pulled out the vacuum,then they tore my baby's head and had to go to forceps giving her a black eye. Shortly after delivery I had to sing a waver saying I would not sue in the event my baby sustained brain damage. This happened in 2009
My baby is perfect and there was no lasting effects except a bald spot from the tear.
I was also told when I became pregnant again he was no longer practicing funny cause you clearly still are.
