Rating Feedback for Dr. Castro (2528652)

'2 years ago, this office had an INCREDIBLE staff that made you feel like family and they cared for your child. About 1 year ago, she had a complete change of staff & it feels like the place is a revolving door of unknowledgable staff. The wait time is INSANE, over 2 hours to be seen by the DR for a couple of mins before she runs out the door. I literally have to stop her at the door before to ask my questions. And the latest, my son needed a refill so I called her office and was assured it would be taken care of. I go to the pharmacy and they never heard from the drs office. It is Friday today. That means too bad for my son, he will not have his medicine because the "suberb staff" which are all new rookies couldn't do their job efficiently. Needless to say, I am SO over this office and will never take my son back. Save yourself the headache and frustration and find yourself an office/doctor that takes patients time and needs into consideration.'

I had a situation with my daughters doctor yesterday Dr. Adriana Castro. It was apparent yesterday that my ex wife and the doctor share stories, views, and opinions of me I suppose. Yesterday while waiting in the waiting room with my daughter for her doctor, I overhear the office assistant tell the dr, X father was here earlier to talk to you" and the dr replies, "Im glad I wasnt here to see him" and then continues to talk about my communication with my ex wife is horrible and that she doesnt have to talk to both of us , etc. At that moment another office assistant says, "X father is here", the office gasps and the dr says, "Well tuff, he can wait now". Mind you i was the only one there with my daughter waiting to see the doctor who I had a 3pm appointment.

After that I rang the little doorbell and asked the doctor very clear, "Have we ever spoken other than a hello and goodbye?" She said, "Ive dealt with you all, you the exwife, even the girlfriend. Its not my problem that divorced parents cant communicate" and she kept on going in front of my daughter. I told my daughter to grab a seat and began to tell the doctor that she was not only out of line, but completely unprofessional. I told her I dont come here for marital advice, counseling, or therapy but for my daughter. Then she began to tell me to use family wizard. Once again I told her shes out of line. She then decided she was done, closed the window and said, "Poof Be Gone". So I asked her if she was going to see my daughter and all I could here was the office laughing it up with her "Poof Be Gone" statement so I left in complete shock, dissapointment, embarassment, and no words to explain to my daughter.

As for the Dr side of Adriana castro, my 5 year old is constantly sick and all we get referred by the doctor is medicine that doesnt work so she blames it on allergies. I recently took her for a 2nd opinion and was not only referred to a pulmanologist for my daughter because its believed to be ashma but mild bronchitis as well. mind you my daughter saw Dr castro last week and, it was nothing said Dr. Castro. Apparently when shes not sure its just allergies and Claritin will do the trick.
