Rating Feedback for Dr. Paul (1829938)

'After 5 days on an unnecessary antibiotic, I developed C.difficile, a very dangerous, contagious, and often fatal bowel disease I'd never heard of before. All I knew was I had diarrhea that wouldn't quit. I got my daughter visiting from out of town to rush me to the ER at RGH. Exhausted after not sleeping all night, I looked up blurry-eyed to see Dr. Paul, who ignored the posted contact precautions (gloves and gown). He asked if I knew who he was. I hadn't seen him at the clinic in over a year, so why would I? He prescribed 1 week of Flagyl. When I relapsed less than 2 weeks later and my daughter had gone home, I had to drive myself to the Pasqua where I was told that the Flagyl should have been given for 2 weeks. So I had to go through this misery again! Every bad review here is true--poor language skills, lack of knowledge, and to not gown and glove for C.difficile? Grossly irresponible! C.difficile kills people and Dr. Paul's inadequate prescribing put me at risk--a second time!'
