'What an bad experience I had today! This practice is not patient focus and does not respects patients' time. I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment,only to wait 45 minutes for nothing. As a Consultant,I have to schedule my hours with clients in advance. Waiting an hour did not leave enough time, unless Paul was planning on cutting corners on my service. The staff clearly stated that Paul did not care about his patients' time & that his schedule was the only thing that matter. They were very disorganize in the front office. The office manager stated that the reason I never received my appointment confirmation, directions and new patient forms was because they were having Internet issues. She even stated that their website was down. If they run their office in this matter, you can take a guess what level of service you will receive as a patient. Do you want to risk your chances with Paul when their are numerous other allergists in Atlanta. Ask your Doctor for another referral.'
In response to this comment, I submit the following to clarify the events that took place on the date of this person's appointment. 1. His appointment was not even with Dr. Rabinowitz 2. He arrived just over an hour late for his scheduled appointment and stated that he had to leave by a particular time as he had to attend a meeting. There would not have been adequate time to assess and treat him properly as he arrived late,therefore, we suggested that the appointment be rescheduled. We would have accommodated him, however, with his time constraints, it was just not possible. 3. I take issue with his comment that the staff said that "Paul did not care about his patient's time"..no one on my staff would say that and again, I will state that HIS APPOINTMENT WAS NOT EVEN WITH DR. RABINOWITZ AND DR. RABINOWITZ WAS NOT EVEN IN THE OFFICE! 4. We were indeed having some issues with internet at that time..there was a problem with our phone vendor and the fact that we had recently upgraded our server, not a reflection of the way our office runs! For goodness sake..I am sure that there have been times when companies much larger than ours have internet/computer problems. It happens to everyone. 5. We made an honest attempt to reschedule this gentleman's appointment at a time convenient for him and that would allow the doctor to give him the time he deserved, however, he was not interested. 6. I cannot state for certain that the appointment mixup was not the fault of my staff. Of course, it is possible as multiple appointment times were discussed with the patient. If so, we deeply apologize for the mixup, however, we are human and it is possible for us to make an error JUST AS IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HE WROTE DOWN THE WRONG TIME. We pride ourselves on treating our patients with dignity and respect and have years of positive feedback from our patients. I am not certain why this man felt compelled to write this review, however, I assure anyone reading this that his comments are definitely not reflective of our practice or our company philosophy.
