Rating Feedback for Dr. KLEMONS (1733662)
'I agree with the comment below regarding how vague Dr. Klemons is w/ his findings. I had the 2 hr examination and then he took a CT scan of my head/neck during the first visit. Next, the second visit he took a tomogram of my jaw. Then, during 3rd visit, I wanted to see him and have him explain to me about his findings. So he quickly stopped by my room and told me that everything was fine, which really puzzled me, but he was in a rush so he still didn't explain anything in detail. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th visit he vaguely told me that I had a jaw fracture. In addition, I eventually received a copy of the report of his findings, but there were a lot of medical terms I didn't understand. So the next time I went to see him, I asked him to go over his findings, but he couldn't bc he didn't have my report on hand! How can a doc not have a copy of the patients diagnosis? In the end, I DID NOT have any improvement from his treatment. I found another specialist who was able to help me =)'
I'm sorry for the experience you had with our practice. As from your note below, we spend a great deal of time on the physician examination - certainly far longer than most other practices. Although many doctors rely on tests, we believe a detailed physical examination is the most essential ingredient to making a proper diagnosis. Many conditions involving headache and facial pain are difficult to diagnose and difficult to treat. That said, the vast majority of our practice is devoted to treating precisely such patients. Regarding not having the report in hand, that was unacceptable. Based on your note, we have looked at our processes for data flow in our office - and believe we identified ways to improve those processes. Thanks again for your comments.
