Rating Feedback for Dr. Sorkin (2300802)

'I am so disappointed!!!! The worst customer service ever!!! The staff does not care about anything but gossiping! I was on time for my appointment, signed in and nobody cared to even look at the sheet to see who came in. 15 minutes later I come up to the counter and ask if I need to fill anything, the secretary looks at me and says "If you want to". REALLY? After waiting for 2 hours in the reception room I am finally being called inside and given a robe. I changed and waited for another half hour. Changed back to my clothes and walked out. I took a day off work to go see a doctor and nobody even cares to tell me that the doctor is running late and I can reschedule if I cannot afford to wait. The secretaries started YELLING at me when I pointed that out to them! I see that there are many people unhappy with the service so I am taking it a step further. I am filing a complaint with the insurance carrier and will make sure that this doctor and his staff gets reprimanded for all this'

I am surprised at your experience. I have been a patient at the office for 6 years. The Staff has always been caring and attentive. Dr. Sorkin is intelligent and always answers my questions. Sometimes there is a wait because patients do come in with emergencies. If it is a long wait and I don't have a major issue, I just go to Dr. Sorkin's assistant. She is great.

I think that you are either writing on their behalf or working at that office because the ratings I have seen on multiple websites are TERRIBLE (except for a few bogus ratings posted either by you or someone else who works at that office)!!! And the common problem that most of the users describe is actually the one pointed out in my rating: EXTREME RUDENESS OF THE STAFF AND EXCESSIVE WAIT TIME! A few of my friends, who have been clients of Dr. Sorkin, confirmed that they were treated with disrespect by the staff a few times and that they are no longer clients at the office. I am actually contacting Better Business Bureau to see if there are any measures they can take to reprimand the people who work there for their behavior and make sure that consumers know what kind of business it is.

I think your beeing rude. You are judging the office by One bad experience. I delivered my son with Dr. Sorkin and I have been a patient for a while. I have great experiences. Of course if Dr. Sorkin has a patient in labor or a patient with major problems, I had to wait. But the otherside of it is that I have had emergencies when he took me right away. His devoded patients understand that emergencies come up, you may have to wait.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Sorkin's for over 10 years... From the first day i walked into his office until now, he shows nothing but compassion, knowledge, and sincerity... Yes it can be a long wait at times but how is that important? That means tbat he is a good, popular and dedicated doctor.... He is a surgeon, and dr that delivers babies, and answers to emergencies on a daily basis so that sounds ridciulous to me thAt women dont realize that! This is not a dentist with an ob/gyn things r unexpected! I can tell u Dr. Sorkin saved my life when i has an emergency surgery no one else would deal with, he spent hours in the OR with me... And then when i was pregna t my pregnancy and my delivery was extremely difficuly... He was always attentive and made sure to do what was in his power to make sure both me and my baby were safe and comfortBle after.....GREAT DR!!!!! I'd nevet choose anyone else!
