Rating Feedback for Dr. Comeaux (2103400)

'I went to see Dr. Comeaux because she was the closest doctor I could find. When I got there, I was seen by Nurse practioner. When I got my bill later, I found out that many tests which I was not informed of were done. Just went in for a well woman visit but they just did unneccasry tests. This Doctor has 3 malpractice sanctions to her name, one as recent as 2010 where she failed to inform a patient of an abnormal pap. I never went back.'

I actually am the patient that she failed to inform of the bad pap, I just happened to call her office one month later, as I oddly enough kept having dreams that something was physically wrong with me. It was a bad sign when the person answering the phone sounded concerned and said a nurse would need to call me back. Nurse called me 1 hour later and tried to schedule an immediate biopsy, but I was NOT going to go back to them. I went to Bruce Christopherson instead and had a LEEP conization and was diagnosed with stage 1a2 cervical cancer and had to have a radical hysterectomy at MD Anderson with removal of 29 lymph nodes. I go back every 4 months for the next 5 years and if I stay Ned then I will be considered a survivor. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I hadn't called her and I went back one year later for another yearly pap...
