Request for Prayers!!!

Hello,

A good friend of mine has a Grandfather in the hospital who is very ill. We are all very worried for him.

Please pray for him and his family! The power of prayer has been noted many times, even if the person does not know they are being prayed for. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your time reading this. Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday!

Prayers being sent.

Its tough. I just saw him yesterday. I hated seeing the man who has always been so active stuck in a hospital bed, already too weak to sit up let alone stand.

Plus, fathers and grandfathers are usually viewed in a special light. It's so hard as I always saw my father as a strong man who couldn't be taken down by anything.

It took him down and made one hell of an impact on me.

Heading to see my grandmother, who is in a similar situation. It's hard to see the ones you love in such a different light. Praying for your family.

I'm really sorry to hear that

I'm really sorry to hear that your grandfather is ailing, Kat. I hope that the prayers helped and that he has taken a turn for the better.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, too. I think what makes it especially hard is when it happens at a festive time of year.

Thanks AE. How are you getting through this year? I'm sure it's tough.

Yes, it has been tough . . . I do miss my dad. . . . especially when I phone my mom and she's having a "dad" day (in other words, the blues) and I can't be there with her. Sad I'm sure that she must feel that part of her has been ripped out since dad's death . . . how could it not after 67 years of marriage. For the most part, though, she's been pretty good considering that she and dad were so close and so noticeably in love with one another.
