'I had a doctor who was hopeless!! Bad doctor and always moving. Through her last move I came across Dr Healey. It was like magic. He is like nothing else you could imagine. He has an amazing knack of working out what's wrong with you then acting on it. I happened to mention during an appointment that I had little movement in my right arm when held up or back. He sent me to theparmacy next door with a perscription then when he had time he called me back in and injected the Steroid into four places in my shoulder, done from one entrance shot. I expected it to be agony but he said "trust me.. I'm very good at this". He was!!! It didn't hurt and I have full use of my arm again. I love him. He instills total trust in you. As to the waiting time. I always call up before coming, to see if he's running late. That way when I come in I have minimal time in the waiting room. I'd happily sit for two hours with a book to see him though. That you Dr Healey for being so kind and good.'

---The Response:
Reguarding the problem with your arm,I would suggest you get a second opinion. I told Dr. Healley that my arm went from having no pain, to having intense sudden pain during an activity. He said it was Arthritis in my Shoulder. He said he would inject a steroid to releive the pain. After trying 2 more times to explain that my arm went from "no pain", to "intense pain" in a split second- Healley said "trust me" it is just Arthritis. I told him I wanted to fix the problem not just receive "short term" releif. The next Doctor I went to put me through various, physical tests, and said that I had a partial tear in my Bicep. He sent me for an Ultrasound, which confirmed his diagnosis. Proper Physiotherapy is what I needed. Thanks to a Doctor that listened to me, I did physio and restored good "pain free" function to my arm. I do have the "start" of Arthritis, but some "aching" in my Shoulder is totally different from the sudden intense pain I experienced when I tore my Bicep.
