Rating Feedback for Dr. Scott-Young (579449)

The rating:
'I now live in daily pain due to the spinal operation Dr Scott-Young said was 'necessary' when in actual fact it was not. While he is at times very helpful, I recomend that you seek a second opinon before going ahead with what he suggests.'

I would suggest the person who gave you a second opinion was just trying to make himself look important. I don't know any surgeon who would operate when it wasn't "necessary". Was the person who offered that opinion a trained spine surgeon with up to date knowledge and skills? I am a patient of Dr Scott-Young's and he always sent me away advising to come back when I could not participate in my social and employment activities to the extent I needed and wanted the surgery.I would suggest that you go back and see Dr Scott-Young and ask him if the surgery was "necessary". Give him a chance to tell you why it was necessary.

Are you saying this person

Are you saying this person is a liar when he/she complains of daily pain post op? That has nothing to do with 'second opinion'.
I have heard about Dr M S-Y and doing some research. The amount of defensive comments by anonymous people whenever a bad experience is mentioned is putting me off.

Seems orchestrated to protect his image perhaps.

cheers

I aggree with 'cokes' tues

I aggree with 'cokes' tues 09/15/2009. Even specialists are not 100% right a 100% IN EVERY CASE. Lets be realistic. This patient made a positive comment first about Dr Scott Young, but then pointed out what happened in their case. surely you lovers of Dr Scott Young can't put down ALL negative feedback. The Dr is great, BUT he's NOT GOD???? Cheers
