This is quite interesting since my experience with the nurse and especially the doctor has been nothing but professional and helpful. They guided me step by step and anal as I am, they always answered all my questions to the best of their ability. The results of any surgery is different from one person to the next. I bet you can't deny that you feel better now than ever. As far as the slit below the belly button - this is a known practice and the ONLY way to do a laparoscopy. No secret there. I'm sure he told you because he told me and I googled it. As far as the office - I found it extremely friendly. It's a shared office and the nurse and the doctor are both extremely attentive.
